FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • When are your flowers available?
Our growing season begins in April and continues through September or until our first Fall frost. We are learning new methods of extending our growing season, so as we learn and grow, we will update our customers if flowers become available earlier and/or later than planned.
  • What kinds of flowers do you grow?
We focus on flowers that grow well in our USDA growing zone and those that can handle our extreme weather. On any given growing season you may see: Zinnias, sunflowers, celosia, cosmos, dahlias, stock, scabiosa, statice, lillies, ageratum, rudbekia, sweet peas, buplereum, feverfew, snapdragons, larkspur, gladiolas, lisianthus, and many more. This is certainly not an exhaustive list. Please know that at any given time, environmental conditions may dictate what flowers are available. We are often at the whim of nature's moods! We are constantly tweaking our growing list to what grows and sells well for us. We have plans to expand our varieties in coming seasons.
  • How do I buy your flowers?
We are so glad you asked! Here are a few ways to buy our local blooms: 1) Become a member of our Bouquet Club. Receive 8 weeks of farm-fresh flowers from June to August. Memberships can be purchased for yourself, given as a gift, or purchased for a business. 2) Follow our Instagram page and subscribe to our email list for local Pop-Up Sales and Online Pop-Up Sales. 3) Purchase fresh bouquets and arrangements through our Online Farm Shop. It will be updated weekly with the flowers available each week. If you do not see any flowers available, that means we are sold out for the week. (FYI - we often sell out within a day or two for the week!) 4) Have a special event or project in mind that you need local flowers for? Please contact us at info@okcutflowerco.com. As we grow, we will update this page with a list of other ways you can purchase our blooms.
  • Is the farm open to the public?
The farm is not open to the public. However, when we have on-farm events, tickets will serve as a reservation and permission for you to be on the farm. Please do not come to the farm if you do not have an event ticket, unless you are picking up an order or have permission to be on the farm.
  • I am a photographer, may I use the farm for my photography sessions?
Photography sessions will be allowed this year beginning in late May/early June. Photographers will be permitted one hour on the farm for a reservation fee of $50.
